Forelax

Composition :

Each film coated tablet FORELAX^® contains Eperisone HCl 50 mg

 

Pharmacology :

Eperisone HCl is a skeletal muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system (CNS) and can increase blood flow due to its dilated effect on vascular smooth muscle.

Eperisone HCl may interfere with myotonia.

It acts mainly on the spinal nerve by inhibiting a spinal reflex and reducing muscle sensitivity through its influence on τ (teta) efferent fibers. Eperisone HCl also has an effect on vasodilation and improves blood flow.

 

Indication :

Symptomatic treatment to condition which related with musculoskeletal spasm.

 

Dosage :

Adult: 1 film coated tablet, 3 times daily; it taken orally after meal. Dose adjusted for the severity of symptoms.
