Composition :

Each capsule EVOTHYL^® 100 contains Fenofibrate 100 mg

Each capsule EVOTHYL^® 300 contains Fenofibrate 300 mg

 

Pharmacology :

Fenofibrate can reduce 20%-25% blood cholesterol and 40%-50% blood triglyseride. Cholesterol reduction by reduced atherogenic ratio from low density fraction (VLDL and LDL). His is improve plasma cholesterol distribution via reduction total cholesterol ratio to HDL which increased for atherogenic hyperlipidaemia.

 

Indication :

Hypercholesterolemia (type IIa) and pure endogen hypertriglyseridemia (type IV) or combination (type IIb and III). If suitability dietetic therapy is not adequate, if blood cholesterol level is high after diet and or if have related risk factor, continued the diet is the essential.

 

Dosage :

Adult

For treatment: 100 mg 3 time daily or 300 mg once daily. If cholesterol over than 4 g/L after do the diet, it can increased the dosage become 100 mg 4 times daily.

Initial dose must be reviewed after cholesterol level become normal, the recommended dose is 100 mg twice daily.

Nevertheless this condition must be controlled every 3 months.

If occur risen the blood lipid the dosage must be increased become 100 mg 3 times daily or 300 mg once daily.
