Composition:

Each tablet ALERFED^® contain:

• Triprolidine HCl 2.5 mg
• Pseudoephedrine HCl 60 mg

 

Pharmacology :

• Triprolidine HCl is an antihistamine with a characteristic that is the ability to inhibit histamine effects on blood vessels, bronchi and various smooth muscle.
• Pseudoephedrine HCl is a derivative of ephedrine which is sympathomimetic with bronchodilator effect, so it can relieve respiration.
• The combination of these two substances is effective in relieves allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis.

 

Indication :

Alleviate symptoms of upper respiratory tract disorders, example allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis.

 

Dosage:

Tablet:

• Adult and children over than 12 years old: 3 times daily 1 tablet.
• Children 6-12 years old: 3 times daily ½ tablet.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age
