Composition :

Each tablet ZUDEM^® contains Zolpidem Tartrate 10 mg

 

Pharmacology :

Zolpidem is a hypnotic imidazopyridine associated with benzodiazepines. Sedative effects associated with a particular agonist action at the central receptor belong to the complex macromolecule GABA-omega (BZI and BZ2) receptors, regulating the opening of the chloride ion channels. Zolpidem selectively binds to the subtype omega 1 (or BZI).

 

Indocation :

Short treatment insomnia on adult patients.

 

Dosage :

• Adult 10 mg before bedtime.
• Elderly and debile patients: recommended dose 5 mg, taken on night.
• Patients with liver impairment: 5 mg, taken on night.
• Zolpidem should not be used in children under 18 years old.
• The total dose of Zolpidem tartrate should not exceed 10 mg
