Composition :

Each 5 ml (1 measuring spoon) syrup NIRAL^® contains Nifuroxazide 250 mg

 

Pharmacology :

• Nifuroxazide is a nitrofuran compound that has a bactericidal effect on Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas aeroginosa. Nifuroxazide works locally on the digestive tract.
• Nifuroxazide antimicrobial activity is greater than ordinary intestinal anti-infective drugs such as chloroiodoquin
• At dilute concentrations (1: 25,000), Nifuroxazide still has bactericidal power

 

Indication :                                                                                          

Diarrhea which caused by E. coli and Staphylococcus, specific and non-specific colopathies, both for children and adults

 

Dosage :

Infant under 6 months: 1 measuring spoon, twice daily.

Infant over than 6 months and children: 1 measuring spoon, 3 times daily.

Adult: 1 – 2 measuring spoons, 3 times daily.

Or according Doctor’s instruction.
