Composition :

Each tablet EXTROPECT^® contain Ambroxol HCl 30 mg

Each 5 ml sirup EXTROPECT^® contain Ambroxol HCl 15 mg

 

Pharmacology :

Ambroxol HCl has a secretory effect to facilitate the release of thick and sticky secret in the respiratory tract.

 

Indication :

As mucolytic in acute and chronic respiratory disorders especially in exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and bronchitis asmatic.

 

Dosage :

Tablet:

Adult and children over than 12 years old: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily.

Childeren 6-12 years old: ½ tablet, 2-3 times daily.

 

Syrup:

6-12 years old: 5 ml (1 tea spoon), 2-3 times daily.

2-6 years old: 2.5 ml (½ tea spoon), 3 times daily.

Below 2 years old: 2.5 ml ( ½ tea spoon ) 2 times daily.
